HORIZON-WIDERA-2021-ACCESS-03: TWINNING TRIP TRAINING IN TRANSLATIONAL PROTOCOLS FOR MINIMAL INVASIVE DIAGNOSIS AND THERAPY IN PANCREATICO-BILLARY CANCERS [2020-2025]
The EU-funded TRIP project aims to strengthen the research infrastructure of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Carol Davila Bucharest (UMFCD) in Romania, as well as the strategic partnership of UMFCD (and its affiliated hospitals: Elias University Emergency Hospital, Fundeni Clinical Institute, Central Military University Emergency Hospital “Dr. Carol Davila”), located in Romania, one of the Widening countries, with internationally-leading counterparts in the EU - Region H: Copenhagen University Hospital Herlev (Denmark), University College London (United Kingdom), Amsterdam University Medical Center (The Netherlands).
At the same time, the project aims to enhance scientific collaboration and networking activities among these institutions and to combine their skills and competences in the field of pancreatic cancer screening strategies, minimal invasive endoscopic / laparoscopic interventions used for early diagnosis / staging, but also for personalized therapy IN PANCREATICO-BILIARY CANCER.
